Eclipse Cornets
Beautifully hand-crafted in the UK to your specification
Bb Cornet
The Eclipse Bb Cornet comes with your choice of two bell types in red or yellow brass. They are identical in design but made from different materials to give you the sound you require for the style of music you play.
Red Brass
This bell creates the classic British Brass Band Sound. It has a great core and is very responsive. The sound stays very even from the quietest of volumes to the loudest.
Yellow Brass
This bell has all of the same playing characteristics as our Red Brass bell but is slightly brighter in sound. It is the bell of choice for the Royal Marines as well as many of the British Army bands.

Bb Long Model Cornet
A few words from Bruce Adams - Eclipse Artist.
Because I sometimes perform at concerts and festivals where I’m required to play Classic/Traditional Jazz, I’ve always wanted a Long Model Cornet.
In Britain this can be difficult as the Brass Band and Military norm is the short model, or shepherd’s crook. This means very often settling for an old horn that has seen better days. When Leigh McKinney at Eclipse handed me this cornet I was completely knocked out. My aim is for a classic Chicago sound, so my preference is for standard weight caps on the valve bottoms. Legit players may prefer the heavy caps on the valve bottoms. They do make quite a difference.
The choice is yours.
